Marché Restaurant

After we spent the day in Sentosa, we went back to VivoCity for dinner. Since it is the largest mall in Singapore, we already expected that there are a lot of good restaurants to choose from. We ended up eating in Marché which my sister suggested as one of the best restaurants she tried in the country. With its unique concept and great menu, it definitely gave us a one-of-a-kind dining experience. It is a spacious Swiss restaurant made up of entirely glass windows with different food stalls inside. (Photos below showed the salad and dessert stations.) I wish I had more photos of the place but they are strict about their no picture-taking policy.

Each person is given a guest card which is swiped for each purchase made. Good thing that there’s a restaurant like this. Less hassle! Queue is rare and you don’t have to rush in deciding what to order. Honestly, para lang kaming namamasyal while deciding what to order. You can also see how they prepare and cook your meals since they do it in the same station where you order.

Savory crepes filled with roasted chicken strips, mushrooms and vegetables. The dish together with its mushroom sauce is definitely a must!

Seafood Paella. Definitely my favorite!

Cheese Sausage with Rosti. Rosti is butter-fried potatoes. I don’t know if it’s fried with or without oil but still, it doesn’t appear greasy. The sour cream makes the dish more appetizing too. :)

Seafood Pasta

Grilled Pork with baked potato

And of course, desserts!

DIY turban :D My grandmother had her dress altered so I asked for the excess cloth and made it into turban. Isn’t it adorable?
Resorts World Sentosa
It’s been a while since I last updated my blog. Having whole day summer classes even on Saturdays and keeping myself from using the internet pretty explain why. Actually, I really thought that summer would be vague for me since I have a hectic schedule and I have to prepare for this big test: The NURSING BOARD EXAMINATION. It sounds so scary as our future, pride, dignity and stuff depend on passing the exam. But of course, who can resist summer anyway? A little getaway wouldn’t hurt that much as long as we get back to reality as soon as possible. No vacation hangover! (which I tell you is difficult) Haha!
So there, luckily, we were able to visit my sister and have our vacation in Singapore. My mom was unable to find promos since we booked late. My bad, I was unsure of my review schedule at that time.
Here are some photos of how our second day in SG went. :D
